Got up at about 830am this morning to pack everything and dump them into our car, before we walked to Old Montreal for breakfast. It was about a 30-min walk and along the way..........

Had breakfast at this Crepes restaurant and this meal cost me $20! :p

The quays of the Old Port of Montreal is a 2.5km long recreational and tourist park and offers a variety of outdoor activities such as cruises, excursions, exhibitions, events and entertainment.

Marche Bonsecours - used to be the city's main agricultural marketplace for over a century. Now, it has been turned into a bustling marketplace that features sidewalk cafes, shops and exhibitions.

Making our way back to the Notre Dame Basilica...

A masterpiece of Gothic Revival architecture, Notre-Dame Basilica was built between 1824 and 1829. Paintings, sculptures and stained-glass windows illustrate biblical passages as well as 350 yrs of parish history. A 30-min English guided tour revealed more of its story to us, letting us understand the history behind this tourist hotspot. Besides the main church, there is a wedding chapel behind and we were told that we can make an appointment to have our marriage held in Notre Dame - 2 years in advance!

That marked the last stop for Montreal and fearing that there would be heavy traffic, we made our way back to Portsmouth at abt 330pm..... When we were driving through Vermont, we saw this HUGE rainbow that was stretched across the sky... What a beautiful one....
